Cookie Policy
This policy explains which cookies and equivalent technologies this website uses, who runs them, what they are for, how long they last, and how you can accept them, reject them, change your decision or withdraw it. It only describes what this site does today, as verified on 25 September 2026.

This is the same website described in the legal notice and theprivacy policy. This policy deals exclusively with cookies and storage technologies; for the processing of personal data, the privacy policy is the one that applies.
2. What cookies and equivalent technologies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser. Other technologies do the same job, such as local storage: data that the site leaves on your device without being sent to a server. This policy covers both, because both can remember information about your visit.
This site also uses technical session cookies from the platform hosting it (see the table), and nothing else: today there are no third-party analytics, advertising or profiling cookies.
3. Types of cookies by purpose
- Technical or strictly necessary. They make the site work and make your cookie choice respected. They do not require consent and cannot be switched off from this site.
- Preferences. They remember display options. This site does not use them.
- Analytics. They measure how the site is used and where visits come from. This site only uses first-party technologies (request attribution “rodunits_attr" and anonymous visitor/session identifiers "rodunits_vid" / "rodunits_sid”), all blocked until you accept them. Without consent, only the banner decision is counted anonymously. We do not use any third-party analytics tool.
- Advertising and profiling. This site uses no advertising cookies and builds no behavioural profiles. The architecture is ready so that, if anything like this is ever added, it cannot be enabled without your prior consent.
- Third-party cookies through embedded content. When a video or post from another service (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) is shown, that service may set its own cookies. That is why this site does not load such content until you allow it (section 6).
4. Cookies and technologies used by this site today
The only cookie table on this site, with data verified in the 25-09-2026 audit:

What this site does NOT have: no third-party analytics tool, no advertising pixel, no embedded maps, no videos loaded by default, and no typefaces served from a third party (fonts travel within the site itself).
5. Embedded third-party content
Exception: introduction video on «About». That page includes a collapsible section with the RODUNITS introduction video on YouTube. Only when you open it does the site connect to YouTube, always through youtube-nocookie.com and without waiting for the cookie banner; closing it cuts the connection. Google may process your data under its policy. If you do not open the section, nothing is loaded from YouTube.
If videos or posts from YouTube, Instagram, TikTok or Facebook are embedded in the future, this site will show a notice first: no content from that third party is loaded and no connection is made to its servers until you allow it. Once you do, the content provider may set its own cookies and process your data under its own policy:
- Google / YouTube: cookie policy and privacy policy.
- Meta (Instagram and Facebook): Instagram cookie policy and Meta privacy policy.
- TikTok: cookie policy and privacy policy.
- Cloudflare (website infrastructure): privacy policy.
Social profile links: the footer links to the official RODUNITS profiles on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube, which open in a new tab. These are just links: this site loads nothing from those services while you browse it, and opening them applies the corresponding service's policy.
6. How to manage your consent
On this site consent is requested and withdrawn in the same way, with no more steps to reject than to accept:
- Accept everything: the “Accept” button on the first-visit notice.
- Reject everything: the “Reject” button on the same notice, at the same level and with equivalent visibility. One click, no intermediate screens.
- Configure by category: the “Settings” button on the notice, or the “Cookie settings” link in the footer of any page. You will see the categories, with the necessary ones always on and the rest at your choice.
- Change or withdraw your decision: “Cookie settings” in the footer of any page. You can move from accepted to rejected whenever you want.
What happens when you withdraw or reject: technologies in that category stop loading from that moment on, first-party measurement storage already saved is deleted, and, if third-party content is on screen, the page reloads to remove it. Your choice (including rejection) is stored in your browser so you are not asked on every visit; if you clear your browser data, you will be asked again.
All of this works without installing any analytics tool: the site's consent system is built to enable only what you allow, when you allow it.
7. Browser settings
You can also view, block or delete cookies from your browser settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and equivalents). Bear in mind that deleting storage from the browser leaves no record of your choice: this site will show you the cookie notice again next time, and features relying on technical cookies (such as the private panel session) will stop remembering your state. Browser controls are a complement, not a substitute for this site's “Cookie settings” panel.
8. Legal framework
This policy complies with Article 22.2 of Spanish Act 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI), and has been drafted in line with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), Spanish Organic Act 3/2018 on personal data protection and safeguarding digital rights (LOPDGDD), the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) guide on the use of cookies and the criteria of the European Data Protection Board. In particular: rejecting is as easy as accepting, nothing non-essential loads before consent, and consent can be withdrawn at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
If the cookies or technologies used change, this policy will be updated before the change takes effect and consent will be requested again whenever the change affects categories already decided. Current version: 25 September 2026.
