Data collected

The contact form may collect the information a prospective client provides to describe a project and allow a commercial response.

Purpose

Submitted data is used to respond to the enquiry, check availability and prepare the corresponding response or quote.

In addition, if the enquiry includes a valid email address, an automatic acknowledgement of receipt is sent to confirm the enquiry; it only certifies receipt and does not constitute acceptance or any contractual commitment.

First-party site measurement

This site uses a first-party measurement system (no third-party tools such as Google Analytics) that, only with your analytics consent, generates two random identifiers not linked to personal data: one for the visitor (rodunits_vid, 400 days) and one for the session (rodunits_sid, until the tab is closed). With them we count visits, journeys, drop-off points, JavaScript errors and technical performance (LCP, CLS, INP, TTFB) to improve the site.

Without consent those identifiers are not created, nothing is stored in your browser and no individual events are sent; only the banner decision itself (accept or reject) is recorded anonymously so we can measure the acceptance rate. The legal basis for first-party measurement is your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), and you can withdraw it at any time from "Cookie settings" in the footer: doing so deletes the stored identifiers.

Commercial email tracking

Commercial emails we send to clients and professional contacts may include a first-party tracking link of the form /api/r/…. When you click that link, the server records the open or click associated with that specific send (not with a general browsing profile) so we can tell which communications are useful and which are not. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest in measuring the effectiveness of its B2B communications (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), balanced against the recipient's rights: every email includes an unsubscribe link, and once you opt out the tracking identifier stops being used. You may object at any time by replying to the email or writing to the controller's postal address.

Retention and rights

Data provided is retained for the time strictly necessary to resolve the enquiry or prepare the corresponding commercial quote. If no contract is finally entered into, it is deleted within a maximum of 6 months.

If the service is formalised, data is retained throughout the term of the contractual relationship and, afterwards, for the legal periods that apply for tax, accounting and defence against potential claims.

The data subject may exercise at any time the rights of access, rectification, erasure (right to be forgotten), restriction of processing, objection and portability of their data.

To exercise them, it is enough to send a written request, proving identity, to the Controller's postal address: Calle Martín Machío 27-29, 3º izquierda, 28002 Madrid, España.

The data subject also has the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) if they consider that the processing does not comply with applicable regulations.
